The Kindtagious Philosophy

Kindtagious is not a program but a way to positively impact those around you. The philosophy is best understood by learning about what it is not.

We do not believe in paying it forward!
"Pay" leads one to feel obligated to move forward. Kindtagious allows the recipient to fully enjoy the kind act that was provided to them without obligation to "pay" anyone else. Some are not able to "pay" so we must simply allow them to receive.

We do not believe in killing a person with kindness!
Kindtagious is not a weapon of revenge. The motive should be to build-up and not break-down. At its root is a heart of joy.

We do not believe in simply being kind to our kind!
Kindtagious moves beyond cultural and social borders. While the inclination is to migrate toward those most like ourselves, kindtagious is transmittable across all people groups.

We do not believe in personal gain other than intrinsic satisfaction!
Kindtagious is not a means to ensure reciprocity of activity. Additionally, the limelight is not the goal. Acts should be done in secret. When you drive or walk away, you will find yourself smiling.

We do not believe in random acts of kindness!
One must deliberately be kindtagious. There is a lack of ownership that accompanies random acts. The more deliberate the act the greater impact it will have on the recipient.
